This trainers' handbook was adapted from the World Health Organization Manual for Early Infant Male Circumcision Under Local Anaethesia and the Clinical Manual on Early Infant Male Circumcision, Kenya, with updates based on recent experiences and evidence from Kenya and other countries in sub-Saharan Africa. The trainers’ handbook and a participants’ workbook comprise the EIMC Training Package for HCWs in Kenya developed by Kenya’s National AIDS and STI Control Programme and Jhpiego.
