The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) and the World Health Organization’s Global Health Workforce Alliance have initiated an action plan for eliminating discrimination in health care. This plan outlines the initiative’s agenda and provides seven standards for discrimination-free health care settings. The goal of the plan is for all health facilities, including those that offer voluntary medical male circumcision, to meet these standards.
