These updated guidelines address HIV prevention options such as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), elimination of mother-to-child transmission, safe male circumcision and HIV services with a focus on case finding. There is also a guide to antiretroviral therapy optimisation with dolutegravir in all age groups and populations and instruction on operational and service delivery issues to increase access to HIV services and strengthen the continuum of care. The intended audience is health care workers, district health teams and programme managers.
