This technical updates and supplements previous World Health Organization guidelines and guidance on pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV prevention. The brief aims to support differentiated, simplified, demedicalised and comprehensive PrEP services to support PrEP uptake, persistence and effective use.
