Researchers analysed longitudinal data from a large population cohort of South African men to measure the effect of incident circumcision on sexual behaviours. The results, published in the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes, strongly suggest that circumcision has no effect on sexual behaviours that increase HIV risk.
