This revised edition of the guidelines for use of antiretroviral (ARV) and opportunistic infection (OI) drugs in adults, adolescents and children is based on recent national and global evidence and experiences. The guidelines support the expanding and strengthening of HIV prevention, care and treatment activities at regional, zonal, woreda and kebele levels through targeted social mobilisation and active community participation. The aim is to create an enabling environment to prevent and control the spread of the epidemic.
