Voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) programmes have gained valuable experience in generating demand for VMMC and matching supply with demand. As countries begin to transition toward more locally managed, sustainable VMMC services, this experience can inform their efforts to generate and sustain demand for VMMC.
