As described in this article in Global Health Action, the ZAZIC consortium’s integrated approach to voluntary medical male circumcision emphasises using existing healthcare workers and infrastructure to increase programme sustainability and resilience. To explore the approach, a process evaluation was conducted using routine quantitative data from the five-year, integrated programme jointly implemented by the ZAZIC consortium and the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) in Zimbabwe, as well as interviews with MoHCC informants.
