An excerpt from AVAC’s 2014/15 report, Prevention on the Line, this document highlights progress and successes to date, and identifies gaps and opportunities, in the scale-up of voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC). It describes the ambitious targets for investment, political will, and evidence that have led to accelerated scale-up, but also argues that the current lack of similar targets and financial and political commitments is putting these gains at risk.
