An update of the comprehensive HIV prevention, care and treatment guidelines released in 2018, these guidelines are aligned with the Kenya Ministry of Health’s mission of providing the highest standard of health for all Kenyans. The theme of the 2022 guidelines is refocusing efforts to manage advanced HIV disease to reduce HIV-related morbidity and mortality. The guidelines are meant to be used by service providers at all levels of the health sector in Kenya.
