This webinar was the official launch of the GPC Key Population community of practice (CoP). The overall goal of the CoP is to create a space for representatives of national programmes, UN bodies, key population networks, key population-led organisations, other programme implementers and development agencies to come together and share and learn from each other on programming with key populations.

The objectives of the CoP are to:
- Create a safe space for frank discussion on how to accelerate key population programmes in countries;
- Facilitate peer to peer/country-to-country exchange of experiences in key population programme development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and community engagement; and
- Receive updates on global key population policy, latest guidance, implementation tools and financing opportunities.

The community of practice will unite key partners involved in key population programming in different countries: government officials, key population communities, UN staff and other partners. Although these country-level players will be the primary audience, the community of practice is also open to global and regional audiences.
