This policy establishes a framework for an effective multisectoral response to HIV in Lesotho. Specific objectives towards achieving the policy's vision of an AIDS-free Lesotho include reducing new HIV infections; improving the quality of life and increasing life expectancy; promoting and protecting human rights, including the sexual and reproductive health rights of people living with HIV, vulnerable groups, and key populations; ensuring a decisive, inclusive and accountable leadership; and using strategic information to facilitate equitable and equal access to interventions.
