These 2020 guidelines update earlier World Health Organization recommendations to maximize the HIV prevention impact of safe voluntary medical male circumcision services and to guide the transition to the sustained provision of interventions with a focus on the health and well-being of adolescent boys and men. The recommendations and considerations examined in these guidelines are summarised in a policy brief.
