UNAIDS supported a review of HIV social marketing and condom programming in the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the development of a pre-exposure prophylaxis and condom programming road map for key populations to help guide the implementation of Iran’s fifth national HIV strategic plan. This report summarises the findings of the review and the research team’s recommendations for using social marketing mechanisms to expand access to and use of condoms.
