The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and its partners have the opportunity to demonstrate the effectiveness of innovative approaches to generating demand for male circumcision and to inform and influence the field in scaling up evidenced-based interventions. This report summarises a three-day workshop convened by BMGF at its headquarters in January 2015, bringing together researchers, implementers, other donors, and multilateral partners to discuss research results on demand generation, identify gaps and challenges, and examine opportunities for collaboration and synergy.
