The Indonesian Ministry of Health undertook a review to examine progress toward national HIV goals, opportunities for progress and barriers faced in achieving effective scale-up of HIV prevention, care, treatment and support. This document reviews the status of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, addresses the adequacy of the national response including policies and programmes and provides recommendations to refine programmatic and technical aspects of HIV prevention, care and treatment.
