Published by the Sonke Gender Justice Network, this brief highlights ongoing work to ensure that implications for women are considered in the introduction of medical male circumcision. As part of these efforts, the organisation is developing medical male circumcision messages and materials recommending that men and boys be educated about gender inequality as part of the rollout in South Africa.
