Estimating the size of key populations is critical to prioritisation and planning of programmes and to tracking reach, yet developing estimates remains a challenge. This study represents the first effort to estimate numbers of men who have sex with men, female sex workers and people who inject drugs in many areas of Egypt based on national data.
