This technical guidance is intended for the Provincial Health Service, District/City Health Service, PrEP service providers and others providing HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). The guide addresses screening clients and providing PrEP within the HIV prevention programme, managing PrEP during pregnancy or hormone therapy use, indicators for monitoring and evaluating the PrEP programme, pharmaceutical governance and logistics, and distribution of PrEP to clients.
