The PEPFAR Vietnam’s country operational plan (COP) 2020 prioritizes achieving two goals: 1) enabling the Government of Vietnam (GOV) to establish a public health response approach to the HIV epidemic and 2) continuing and extending the success of a sustainable transition of primary financial, administrative and technical responsibility of HIV services to the GOV. The report describes the epidemic response, disease burden, and new activities and areas of focus, as well as the plan for operationalizing a public health response in Vietnam.
