To address a lack of costing data on voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) in South Africa’s private sector, researchers collected data from 13 private facilities to determine their unit costs for VMMC service delivery. The findings, published in PLoS One, will help inform levels of funding and scale-up for VMMC in South Africa.
