The seventh Angola Strategic Framework is based on the principles of human rights and equity in health. This NSP is user-centred and aims to eliminate structural barriers that prevent a reduction of new infections with HIV, TB/HIV, STIs and viral hepatitis as well as reducing AIDS-related mortality. It also includes in its structure the mitigation of social determinants that aggravate the epidemic, such as stigma and discrimination and gender-based violence, and calls for multisectoral collaboration and coordination across sectors in implementation of programmes.
