The Cameroon 2021–2023 national strategic extension plan is intended to accelerate the HIV response to reduce incidence, eliminate mother-to-child transmission, reduce mortality and co-morbidities and improve quality of life for people living with and affected by HIV and co-morbidities, as well as to ensure respect for human rights, fight stigma and discrimination and improve the effectiveness of governance in the national response.
