This U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) country operational plan (COP) covering October 2022–September 2023 focuses on strengthening case finding among adult men, adolescent girls, and young women and children; accelerating progress in paediatrics and prevention of mother-to-child transmission programming; improving viral load testing coverage and suppression; completing antiretroviral therapy (ART) optimisation for children; and ensuring patients remain on continuous ART. The plan continues the programmatic priorities implemented in COP 2021, including strategically expanding and strengthening people-centered activities to attain epidemic control in Haut-Katanga and Lualaba and select health zones in Kinshasa.
