This document describes Colombia’s strategy to eliminate mother-to-child transmission of HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B and Chagas disease by 2030. A situational analysis for each infection is presented for Colombia and the Latin American and Caribbean regions, along with information about disease agent, transmission mechanism, diagnosis, case definition, mother-to-child transmission and gestational and postpartum prevention, as well as guidance on exposed infants. The strategy is organised along the axes of health promotion, comprehensive health risk management and public health management and specifies objectives, outcomes, interventions and activities by axis. Indicators and goals for 2030 are provided for each outcome.
