The objective of this booklet is to enable society and health professionals to identify factors that may substantially interfere with the health of the LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and other diverse sexual orientations/gender identities) community in Brazil and to support elaboration of health practices more focused on the needs of the group, especially at a time of health system fragility and increasing discrimination and violence against LGBTQ+ people. The booklet includes information about the services available to the LGBTQ+ population and specific demands for access to health services.
