The 2020-2025 national strategic plan (NSP) guides Malawi’s multisectoral response to the HIV epidemic for five years by outlining the mission, objectives, strategic interventions, activities, implementation arrangements and resources required to move the country towards eliminating HIV as a public health threat. The NSP also prioritises integration and retention across HIV prevention, treatment and care cascades and services for tuberculosis, sexual reproductive health, noncommunicable diseases, viral hepatitis and mental health.
