This 2016 Project IQ webinar featured information about linking male partners of adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) to voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) and other HIV services under DREAMS (Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored and Safe), a partnership to reduce HIV infections among AGYW in 10 sub-Saharan African countries. Presenters discussed the role of VMMC as part of the package of interventions being implemented under DREAMS, including special considerations for identifying male partners of AGYW most vulnerable to HIV and linking VMMC clients who test positive to HIV treatment and care to prevent onward transmission.
