A research project implemented by trans researchers in four countries sought to document the barriers to HIV, sexually transmitted infection and other health services experienced by transgender people in four countries: Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam. This brief summarises the findings from Thailand and provides recommendations for improving access to services through changes to policies and programs as well as community empowerment.
