These guidelines provide the indications for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), eligibility, special considerations, steps for monitoring clients during PrEP use, managing clinical and laboratory results, and descriptions of regimens and dosing. Guidance on implementation of PrEP as well as suggested settings for service delivery are provided. The guidelines were developed by the National AIDS Control Program.
