This document describes the process for registering people living with HIV and the responsibility for medical supervision by health care institutions, both state and communal. Medical services are carried out in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines, including periodic examinations, laboratory, instrumental examinations, counseling and consultations with other specialists. Services include diagnosis and treatment of opportunistic infections.
